Single-patient capsules - numerous properties :
• Sulcular opening
• Secondary haemostasis (by mechanical action)
• Drying of the site
• Protection of the periodontium while treatment
15 years after the launch of Expasyl, ACTEON® creates a new revolution in the field of sulcular opening and introduces Expazen™. Expazen™, the first cord-paste ever, has unique properties in an innovative, ergonomic presentation, while also preserving the periodontium.
Expazen™, whose global launch is planned on the occasion of IDS 2015, improves significantly patient care by providing : all the efficacy of cord without the drawbacks.
Expazen™ is the first cord-paste ever.
With Expazen™ the user is free : he works at his own pace.

Capsule with an exclusive design
Due to its perfectly sized tip, the capsule is never introduced into the sulcus. It delivers a cord-paste dense and wide enough to effectively retract the gingiva without any risk of damage to the epithelial attachment. Effective and atraumatic results every time !
Compatible with composite applicators
The Expazen™ capsule has been specifically designed to fit in existing composite applicators. The procedure becomes easier !

Trium : I need 3 solutions in 1
ACTEON® presents its new X-Mind® trium panoramic dental unit which can be upgraded to 3D (CBCT) and/or cephalometry. It has a full range of medium FOV sizes to facilitate 2D and 3D examinations.
I am demanding
Trium is the only device that combines all the best image qualities in one package. The smallest voxel size available on the market (75 µm), combined with in-house innovative metal artefact filter STAR™ enable easier and more reliable diagnosis. Trium has 4 FOV sizes ranging from Ø40x40 mm to Ø110x80 mm to minimise exposure in the relevant area. The FOVs do not come from a stitching technique.
I demand cephalometry
Due to its patented mechanism, the secondary collimation does not need to be on the cephalometric arm. Furthermore, this means the arm can be shorter, making the Trium one of the smallest footprints for a cephalometric device.
I want minimum exposure for my patients
Trium uses 1,5 to 12 times less radiation than a medical scanner and reduces the necessary dose by 30% compared to other cone beams. This makes it one of the most suitable for ALARA principle devices.
I want no limitations
Developed to provide the optimum level of image quality for superior diagnosis at a minimal dose, X-Mind® trium is your ideal work companion. ACTEON® Imaging Suite (AIS) is simple to use and is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X.
ACTEON®, the world leader in dental imaging, officially presents the new PSPIX®, the first imaging plate scanner for your personal convenience, at IDS 2015. With its revolutionary size, design and user-friendliness, the new PSPIX® is so impressive and appealing that all dentists will want to buy one.
The advanced technology used inside this scanner marks a turning point in terms of excellence. The new PSPIX® is as much as three times smaller than other imaging plate scanners, making it the most compact system on the market !
Dentists can now put a PSPIX® next to each operating chair to improve their workflow and productivity. An exceptional, high quality, sharp image can be obtained within a few seconds, allowing a clinical diagnosis to be made very quickly.
ACTEON® has created an affordable scanner which will improve efficiency and enable the dentist to be more dedicated to patient care.
Featuring the exclusive “Click & Scan” concept, the new PSPIX® is also designed for multi-use and can be shared by up to ten workstations at any one time !
Finally, the new PSPIX® is the only scanner on the market with optional removable parts that can be sterilized in an autoclave to give maximum protection. The new PSPIX® exceeds dentists’ expectations in terms of hygiene.
With the new PSPIX®, ACTEON® has created the first personal imaging plate scanner which produces the best results for every dentist making it exclusive !
